The Men’s ministry that meets on Monday evenings for Bible study will be preparing the meal for this fellowship.
This will be a great time to fellowship with the Men that attend Woodlawn, eat a good meal, hear a devotion, and have a small group discussion. So that we can better prepare for the event, it is helpful to have people register. To help offset the cost of the meal, there will be a $5 fee to attend.
Walking Through Grief Study
What does the Bible teach about grief? Some of the greatest words of comfort that we receive during difficult days come from scripture. Woodlawn will offer a small group study on the topic of grief. There are many different situations that can cause grief. It can be the result of the loss of a loved one, a loss of a relationship, or the loss of a career. While this is not a support group, you will find support by connecting with others and connecting with God. You will be amazed to discover how scripture guides us through the journey of grief.
This small group study led by Lane Northcut called Walking Through Grief will begin on September 4 at 6:30PM at Woodlawn Baptist Church. If you have any questions, you can email Lane at lane@woodlawnbc.org or call the church office at 512.442.7858.

Stephanie Shouse will lead our time on Wednesdays this Fall as we continue to study the book of Ephesians (What's God's plan?). There will be a time of teaching, action, fellowship, and prayer.
