Discipleship Collective

The Texas Baptists Discipleship Collective is designed to equip and encourage LifeGroup leaders from Woodlawn and other leaders from churches in the Central Texas Region.  Leaders who attend will receive practical tools, strategies, and connections with leaders from other churches. Some of the best practitioners in the area will lead breakouts for all age-group leaders.

The Discipleship Collective is provided by the Discipleship Team of Texas Baptists. Because of your gifts to The Baptist General Convention of Texas, this team is able to provide this free discipleship training in several locations across Texas.

Listed Below are the Age-Group Leaders and Breakout sessions

Engaging Teenagers in Small Groups
As the leader of a youth ministry small group, there's more than just Bible study that goes into your weekly preparation. We have the opportunity to help teenagers not only grow in their walk with Jesus and build community with one another but also challenge them to minister to the world around them. This session will help you formulate a plan of how to use small groups to help your students look outward, upward and inward.

To Know and to Grow: Sharing the Gospel with Children

This session will center around the spiritual formation of children, how they can know they are loved by God and how they can grow in their faith journey.  As childhood ministry leaders, we are entrusted with sharing the gospel message with children during their formative years and nurturing their faith through discipleship.
