ADULT MINISTRY

CONNECT, GROW, AND SERVE TOGETHER!

The adult ministry exists to draw us together as Kingdom builders in our lives, our homes, our jobs, our community, and our church. We strive to be continually growing in our relationship with Christ through prayer, studying His word, fellowship and service.

LifeGroups are a great way to grow in faith, practice accountability, and become stronger disciples for Christ.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women’s Gathering - The Women’s ministry will schedule Church wide fellowships four times a year for all women. The majority of these fellowships are called Women’s Gathering and will be a Saturday morning brunch. These typically will involve a time of fellowship, devotion, and discussion.

Women’s Bible Studies – Different Bible studies for women are scheduled throughout the year. There is a Zoom study that many women participate in that starts later in the evening, which allows those who work and those who have children to be a part of a Bible Study as well.

Women’s Mission – The women will focus on a local ministry to support.

MEN’S MINISTRY

The Men’s Fellowship – The Men’s ministry will schedule a church wide fellowship four times a year for all men. The majority of these fellowships are scheduled on a Sunday evening. They will evolve around men bringing food for the main dish, like smoked pork, a pot of chili, or another type of meat. They will typically have a short devotion with a time for discussion and prayer.

Men’s Bible Study – There is a Men’s Bible study on Monday evenings each week at 6:30PM on the Woodlawn campus.

DNA GROUPS

All women and men are encouraged to develop DNA groups. These are groups of 3 or 4 men or 3 or 4 women that people form within the church. These groups can form organically, or you can request to join a group. The most successful groups have been those that have developed out of relationships formed through LifeGroups or other ministries. They meet once a month to discuss three main topics or questions:

Discipleship – What are you learning in your faith or how have you grown in your faith recently?

Nurture – What is going on in your life and how can we pray for you?

Action/Accountability – How can you put your faith into action? Or what are the areas of faith that you need to work on?
