Tuesday, June 26, 2018 - Friday, June 29, 2018
Leaving the Woodlawn campus on our mid-buses at 6 am on Tuesday, June 26, we’re off on the 2018 Jr. High Mission Arlington Trip!
“Taking the church to the people” has been the purpose of Mission Arlington for 30 years! Working with Mission Arlington, we will participate in their ongoing ministries and services. We will help pick up donations, make deliveries, pass out flyers, stock the food pantry, manage the clothing room, work around the office, and a myriad of other day-to-day activities.
Mission Arlington hosts health fairs, crime watch socials, neighborhood cookouts, back-to-school parties, day camps, and a multitude of other events. Our group will help some of these events happen by painting faces, grilling hot dogs, knocking on doors, and fulfilling every other role imaginable. Discover and learn more about Mission Arlington at www.missionarlington.org!
See for yourself!
We will be staying at the Homewood Suites Hotel, just north of Arlington. We will spend one day of the trip at Six Flags (included in trip cost). We will return by 11 pm on Friday night, June 29.
