Thursday Night Worship
During the summer we will be readin the book "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. We meet in the College Room at 7:30pm every Thursday night. The following is an excerpt from the book.
"It's crazy if you think about it. The God of the universe- the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and e-minor- loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Whether you've verbalized it yet or not... we all know something's wrong. Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of do's and don'ts- it's falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same. Because when you're wildly in love with someone, it changes everything."
Girl's Group
Come join us at the church at 7:00pm Monday nights during summer as we read through the books of Galatians and Ephesians. We will also enjoy times of fellowship and accountability.
Guys's Group
Come join us for a time of accountability, fellowship & diving into God's Word. To grow closer to Him and to each other. Plus talk shop and play games in the College Room. We meet Saturday nights at 5:00pm.
Events
College Leads Youth Group- Wednesday, July 21st at 6:30pm the college group will lead the youth group in worship and bible study. We need people to not only teach and lead worship but to be there and be examples and interact with the youth to build relationships and pray for them.
Game Nights- Come join us for fun, food, and games on July 17th and August 21st at 7:30pm in the College Room! Bring you favorite board games and snacks to share!
Hawaii Mission Trip- a group of our college students in going on a mission trip to the Hawaiian island of Oahu, July 27-August 5th.
