The mission of Woodlawn Children's Ministry is to seek out ways to connect children to a lifelong commitment to Christ as well as their families. At Woodlawn we desire to come alongside families,
to partner in guiding the life of this precious gift that God has blessed us with in children.
We understand that families hold the responsibility of raising a child, but we love families
too much to let them do it alone. The children's ministry of Woodlawn is here to
love and support not only the children, but their families as well.
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children.
Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and
when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
